Hello, Me a Euro - my ping can suck! Anyone know if there is a straight relationship between ping and timenudge? Example - Ping = 50 time nudge = -10 - Ping =100 time nudge = -20 - PIng =150 time nudge = -30 Any takers for Ammos question of the week

Nope no relation at all. Cl_maxpackets messes with ping, and Rate will also. cl_maxpackets 100-70 for highspeed Rate 20000 to 25000 depending on speed of isp aswell.

Is there a linear relationship between timenudge off set and ping ? Ammo Hmm. There used to a lil guide for wolf that said how to adjust timenudge to your ping. I myself do not believe this. When I started out people said No to timenudge. Most the cfg's ive gotten from 03 to now have a crazy increase in timenudge. Idk. I play with a -18 on bad and i have a 50 ping there. With out any timenudge on the game seems to flow smoother for me, thats me tho. Samples of timenudge from cfg's Skitz= -10 Voodoo= -8 MessiahV.2 toggled(?) -10 12 and 15. Akasha's cfg had the most ive ever seen -30(before bad server changed its limit in and out of). Then there is Mof0.. zero timenudge! Hes a fkn bastard to kill but i guess it helps. All about feel i guess. /endrant!

negative 1/4 of ping is a good guide for timenudge

what league? -50 is too much. Shoxx or some1 made a demo of a lag script exploit for this and since then to my knowledge the max setting was -20 to -30.

personaly, time nudge settles player lag alittle bit
so my fps is more stable, and not ranging from 30-76
50 ping - -15 99<x<250 = -18 (bad server) *i think i did my math right lol*
....but, there is not reallya relationship between them execpt that.
either this was useless or useful.
